The Water and Sewerage Authority is the local authority charged with the responsibility of providing water and sewerage facilities to the nation of Trinidad and Tobago – it was established in 1965. Services Applied
The Brief
The Solution
The initiative required us to develop a cross-platform mobile application for both Android and iOS devices to allow customers to:
After a competitive pitch process, we were selected based on our vision and track record of high-quality projects. Our fully integrated service ensured we would encompass the three key aspects of the project: an interface designed and built in line with the authority’s brand identity, an intuitive cross-platform application, and on-going support to reinforce the authority’s message and improve usage.
Strategic Direction
Once we defined the core features which would benefit citizens, we started developing the wireframes for each screen. We mapped out the User Experience and customer journey, gradually changing our mock-ups until we got to the first usable iteration of the app. Using our usual Agile Development methodology, we collaborated with several test users, adapting and developing the app based on useful feedback.
The user interface was optimized to be clear and simple since screen estate is even more precious on mobile platforms. This assisted the development process as we worked for the final product to be an essential tool for our key audience – all citizens of Trinidad and Tobago.
