Are there any website requirements?
- SSL Certificate installed and protecting the domain name used for online purchases
- A merchant account with a bank that’s already setup with First Atlantic Commerce
- An account with First Atlantic Commerce
- Server with a minimum of PHP 5.6
- WooCommerce v2.2 or higher.
- Server with support for TLS 1.2 or higher
- Server with a SOAP client installed and enabled
- Server with CURL enabled
- Visa and MasterCard Symbol on the home page and payment page For 3D Secure enrolled merchants, Verified by Visa & MasterCard SecureCode® logos on home page and payment page (Merchant is not required to add regular Visa and MC symbols if they have the 3DS logos.)
- Complete Description of the goods or services offered
- Refund/Return policy – The Merchant must clearly post its return, refund and cancellation policy to inform cardholders of their rights and responsibilities. If there is a limited or no refund policy, this must be very clearly communicated to cardholders before the purchase decision is made to prevent misunderstandings and disputes

How does the annual license work for the First Atlantic Commerce plugin?
After a year, the First Atlantic Commerce plugin will continue processing payments. But, you will no longer be able to download any updated versions or request support until you renew. The renewal license will be available within your account.
Does the plugin only work with WooCommerce websites?

How do I receive First Atlantic Commerce WooCommerce plugin updates?
Within your account, you can simply download the latest version of the First Atlantic Commerce WooCommerce plugin once your license has not expired.
Do you offer installation and support services?
Yes we do. The installation of the First Atlantic Commerce WooCommerce plugin can be included as an add-on purchase during the checkout process. Which plugin do I need? 3ds2 or non-3ds?
The version of the First Atlantic Commerce plugin for Woocommerce depends on your merchant account type with your bank. Your merchant account will either be 3DS2 enabled or Non 3DS enabled.
What is the First Atlantic Commerce Hosted Payment Page option?
The Hosted Payment Page is a payment processing page managed by First Atlantic Commerce off of your website. When a customer is ready to purchase a product from your website, they will be redirected to a secure payment page on the First Atlantic Commerce servers to complete the transaction.
Can I use Paypal in Trinidad?
If you’d like to use Paypal on your website you first need to have a method that Paypal can use to transfer funds to you. Paypal is not integrated with any banks in the Caribbean so if you have a US bank account that solves your first problem. But, if you don’t their only other option for a payout is to use a Visa card that has been registered with them. But using this method also has it’s hurdles since some banks in the Caribbean have also prohibited payments to their Visa cards from Paypal. You will need to ensure this payment is possible with your issuing bank before exploring this as an option.
We do recommend exploring the First Atlantic Commerce payment gateway which will allow you accept payments in multiple Caribbean currencies and have your funds depostied directly to your bank account.
How do I accept online payments in Trinidad?
To accept online payments in Trinidad, we highly recommend setting up both your merchant account with your preferred local bank and your account with the First Atlantic Commerce payment gateway. The First Atlantic Commerce payment gateway is currently integrated with most banks in Trinidad and Tobago so chances are that once you explain to your bank rep. that you’d like to accept online payments, they will be able to walk you throguh the process. Once the process is completed, you’ll be able to accept payments from your website and have the funds deposited directly to your local bank account within 48 hours.
