How long is the typical app development project?
The timeframe for programming apps really vary from project to project. It depends on the time we need to research and document the requirements, to design the interface and user experience, code the functionality and test all the moving parts. Once all this is done we’re ready to launch.
That being said, timeframes range from a few weeks to a few months. Get in touch and we can give you rough estimates from a quick conversation.
Will you work on programming updates to an existing application or only from scratch?
We can continue development on existing applications once we’re able to perform a proper evaluation of the work that has already been completed and the coding style of your previous programmer. In some instances we may recommend that the existing application undergo major changes that may warrant an entire overhaul instead of simply continuing development.
How involved does my team need to be?
The success of any application development project depends on both our team and yours. During the discovery phase we discuss the goals, stakeholders, end-users etc. and these are best communicated by your team that is invested in success.
During the course of development your team will be responsible for working with us in accordance with the project timeframe to test the application and the outcomes of each action preformed.
Once we’re all done then the fun promotion and marketing stage starts.
What programming languages do you have experience with?
Primarily we are PHP programmers due to the demand for those types of web portals. But we are also very familiar and have experience on a number of other languages from ASP and Swift to HTML5 and JS.
