Type your printer model, and the right toner comes up.
Amaranth Business Solutions sells office furniture, printers, toner and home goods across Trinidad and Tobago. We've run its online store since it changed its name from Massy Technologies Applied Imaging in 2019. In six years we've rebuilt the homepage, the category pages and the whole path from product to checkout, and kept improving the store in between, one change at a time.

Nobody remembers the code on a toner cartridge.
But they know what printer is on the desk. Amaranth's store sells 131 kinds of ink, toner and supplies, alongside desks that need assembling and chairs people want to see first. Every one of those is a reason to leave and call instead. The store had to answer the question before the customer gave up.

Search by printer, not by cartridge code.
The supplies page opens with one search box. Type the printer name, the model or the cartridge number and the matching ink or toner comes up, with filters for brand and price underneath. It's the question Amaranth's phone team answered most, now answered on the page.

Assembly, VAT and a secure checkout, before you press Add to Cart.
In 2023 we redesigned the product, cart, checkout and thank-you pages in Figma and put them live. A desk page now says whether assembly is included, that VAT is added at checkout, and that First Atlantic Commerce handles the card. Customers who'd rather not pay by card online can pay cash or debit instead.

A desk quiz, a Barbados store and a blog, added one at a time.
Since 2019 the store has been a running project, not a launch. New category pages with trust icons in 2021, Frequently Bought Together in 2022, a Barbados site in 2023 and a blog in 2024. Shoppers who can't decide on a desk can take a four-question quiz on the desks page, which matches them to one.
