Twenty-two supermarkets, and the one nearest you is a tap away.
Massy Stores runs 22 supermarkets across Trinidad, with more than 1,500 people working in them. Most shoppers know their nearest store by heart. What they come online for is something more specific, like the hours on a public holiday, this week's offers, or points that never landed on their Massy Card. We designed and built massystorestt.com around those questions, from the first content plan to launch in eight months. We also connected PowerTranz card payments to Massy's online stores in Guyana, Barbados and Saint Lucia, working alongside Massy's own developers.

Massy Stores (TT) Ltd
Supermarket retail, Trinidad and the region
Nobody visits a supermarket's website to read about the supermarket.
They come to find a store, check an offer or sort out their Massy Card, and then they leave. The site Massy needed was a short trip, not a brochure. We built it on Massy's existing brand guide, so the job was the structure underneath it, with every common question one tap from the homepage.

Find the nearest Massy, and what time it closes.
The homepage puts a map of Trinidad right under the hero, with a button to the nearest store. The full locator lets you type your area, set a distance or filter by region, then get directions. Every store has its own page with the manager's name, the phone number and the opening hours, so a quick question doesn't need a phone call.

Forgot your card at the till, so upload the receipt instead.
The Massy Card page handles the jobs people used to call head office about. Sign up online, upload a receipt to claim points you missed at checkout, see the partners where your points also count, from Caribbean Airlines to Cinema One, and donate points to a cause. Gift cards get a page of their own with a balance check.

The homepage leads with what's in the aisles.
After the first round of designs, Massy asked for more room for offers, so the homepage went from five promotion blocks to seven, covering prepared meals, the bakery, meats, grocery and fresh produce. Further down, Cook with Us links to recipes made with what's on the shelves.

The bill can change at the scale, so the card is charged after packing.
Massy's online stores in Guyana, Barbados and Saint Lucia take card payments through PowerTranz, on a checkout we built with Massy's own developers. A grocery order can change before it leaves the store, when a cut of meat weighs a little more or an item is out of stock. So the checkout holds the payment when you order, then charges the final total once the order is packed.
